Multi-Pure solid block carbon filters provide the most efficient contaminant removal possible.  Contaminants with a physical size are removed as water passes through the pre-filter which acquires a positive molecular charge attracting the negative ions of contaminants.  Then, the water passes through the densely compacted carbon block filter, micro-straining every molecule of water through microscopic pores.

The compacted carbon block filter has a large surface area for chemical/physical absorption to take place.  With the solid carbon block, the water contact time is longer and provides for greater absorption of many different chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and certain heavy metals.

The filter systems are designed in a way to make filter replacement a very easy procedure.  Filters should be replaced annually or sooner if needed.  Filter life will vary in proportion to the amount of water used and the level of impurities in the water being processed.
