FAQ

Q. I have municipal water at home it tastes good and I've been drinking it all my life, why do I need a filter?

  A. Most municipalities treat your water with chemicals to control the levels of bacteria that are in the water.  Many States and cities still have outside storage of its water for human use, ie: reservior or holding basin.  Therefore, because it is exposed to the elements and animals who roam or live near or in the water, it must be treated before it comes to you.

A couple of the more popular chemicals used to treat the bacteria in the water are chlorine and ammonia.  Sometimes even a combination of the two.  Maybe the effects of these chemicals are not immediate, but why ingest any at all if you have a way to eliminate them.

Q. I get bottled water delivered to my house, it only costs me $8.50 for 5 gallons and it's great tasting water. It is very convient for me to have someone deliver it.  So, why should I stop getting my water delivered?

A. Many of the bottled waters do taste good.  However, the present bottled water industry is unregulated. So, what that means is they are not bound to meet the standards that the municipalities do, for the water they supply to the community.

Now $8.50 for five gallons of water might not be a bad price to pay.  However, consider this, if you install a Multi-Pure filter at your kitchen sink you will have an unlimited supply of refreshing, clean tasting, healthy water.

The Multi-Pure filters are certified for 750 gallons of water. Your first year cost  would be approximately 53 cents per gallon of water.  After that, when you put in a replacement filter once a year, your cost would be approximately 8 cents per gallon or 40 cents for 5 gallons.

Now, think about the money you can save if you stopped buying bottled water.  Also, there will be no more heavy bottles to clean or juggle around or inventory.  So, filter your water at the sink and give yourself one less thing to think about in addition to saving $$$.

Q. Will your filtering system eliminate the chlorine taste that I have with my water and will it also remove any lead?

A. The filters are designed and certified to remove 99% of chlorine and 99.3% of lead
